Sitting by the lake can be so relaxing, still remember the good’ol days back in Bhopal. After every major exam got over, we (school friends) would all go and sit by the lake for an hour and watch sunset.

Bhopal Lake isnt this Gorgeous but yeah it scores much above the Hussainsagar Pond in Hyderabad.

This has been my wallpaper for quite sometime, shot from a lake side park in Kirkland and processed as an HDR with variably exposed images from a single RAW file. This was not the shot of the day and I think other shots came out better than this, but there’s something in this image which catches the moment. Specially the girl and her mother sitting calmly and watching the far end.

India has lifted the world cup today. Took 24 years to become World Cup Champions again.
Its celebrations all over, crackers and fireworks, news channels going mad and the whole country seems to be singing Chak De India.
We have surely made history.

my 32″ LCD had an awesome debut i can never forget. If this is a lucky charm i would buy one every world cup :p
