The Perfect Father, originally uploaded by sanyam.
The Perfect Father
who accepts you
the perfect father
who protects you
The perfect father
what will you do?
but believe in him
and accept Him too
The perfect Father
who knows your name
The perfect father
who will remain
The perfect Father
who lovingly guides
who wants to lead you
like a shepherd
and walk
by your side
The perfect Father
who listens and holds
The perfect Father
who gently consoles
The perfect Father
who changes you
by his Love and his kindness
and acceptance too
The perfect Father
who understands
This perfect Father
became a man

Tum Ho To …, originally uploaded by sanyam.
Tum ho to gaata hai dil
Tum nahi to geet kahaan
Tum ho to hai sab haasil
Tum nahi to kya hai yahaan
Tum ho to hai sapno ke jaisa haseen ek samaa
Jo tum ho ye .. lagta hai ke .. mil gayi har khushi
Jo tum na ho .. ye lagta hai .. ke har khushi mein hai kami
Tumko hai maangti ye zindagi….
Hoo ho hoo ho hooo…..
Hoo ho hoo ho hooo…..
Hoo ho hoo ho hooo…..
Tum ho to raahein bhi hain
Tum nahi to raste kahaan
Tum ho to yahaan sabhi hai
Tum nahi to kaun yahaan
Tum ho to hai har ek pal meharbaan
Ye jahaan………..
Jo tum ho hawaa mein bhi mohabbton ka rang hai
Jo tum na ho to phir koi na josh na umang hai
Tum mili to mili ye zindagi……
Hoo ho hoo ho hooo…..
Hoo ho hoo ho hooo…..
from the movie Rock On written by Javed Akhtar.

we went to the beach, originally uploaded by sanyam.
We went to the beach to get wind in our hair
to stand on the sand and simply to stare.
To let the surf tickle toes and dampen our clothes
as we played ‘run away’
from the wavelets at play.
We went to the beach to climb on the rocks
find cool shallow pools where we’d take of our socks,
and peer in the waters to see what we might find
that the waves of the sea,
had last left behind.
We went to the beach to find coloured shells
the kind that when placed to our ears
make the sound of the ocean appear,
and gathered rocks that we never would find
in the places we walked,
for most of the time.
We went to the beach and all that, we did find
and the smell of the salt refreshed our tired minds.
I’ll never forget the laughter and sounds
and the freedom to run,
on that wet sandy ground.
We went to the beach my family and I
and there we were one,
with the ocean, the beach, and the sky.
