Mobile phone also adds the capability of multiplayer games on a wifi network or using bluetooth which make it even more interesting. Today, there are tons of games available for mobile phones, atleast for the major platforms like Symbian and Window Mobile. I am not a symbian user which is why i am not mentioning any links here but i am sure it would be easy to search on the web.

How can you not have Pac Man on your mobile. The arcade classic can fit in your pocket right and will never let you get bored, the experience is also very close to the original one.
Quake 3 for Windows Mobile
There are many ported versions of Quake for Windows Mobile and one will have to od a quick search to figure out the most recent one. This one is the closest to the actual look and feel on the PC and you can watch the video for more details.Â
Quake is quite an fps intensive game, i feel that the game play will vary from device to device and it will surely be better on mobile phones which use hardware accelaration such as Dell Axiom. This might not give a good experience on many devices.

Shooing games like Far Cry 2, Air Strike 1944,Big Range Hunting etc..and Board Games like King Kong Pin Ball, Domino Fever etc.. are more adventureous and enjoying to play. Most of them are publishedby Gameloft a mobile gaming Company.
Mobile phone development is a growing and as each application is developed for each device the mobile phone development has to be done specifically for that device using the SDK for that device. Similar efforts to be towards Windows mobiles.

The problem with Scrabble is the multiplayer mode. This came screams out for the missing bluetooth support. It used to be there in the Palm version but was removed when it went to Win Mobile. Playing this game by yourself is just not the same as playing with someone else. And the only way to really do that is by bluetooth. Most devices don’t even have IR anymore and passing your device around from player to player really slows down gameplay. C’mon Handmark, cowboy up and get bluetooth support back onto the game.
