This is Triund.
At 2900 mts above sea level, 9 kms away from Indrahaar pass, Southern Himalayan Range (Dhauladhar Range).
There was no electricity but just some solar battery panels, the only food available was Maggi and Rice. No motorable road from McLeod Gunj to Triund which is 9 kms away and 1200 mts high.
Just 2 sheds which can provide shelter at night (one can be seen on the right) other than the tea/snack shaks.
P.S – View this photo in the original size to appreciate the full beauty.
Here is another picture which i recently found on the net capturing a similar view of the same location.

great photograph (like I have said a million times)
bad theme, I hate dark themes
black theme?
photographs look better on dark themes
The photo reminds me of the days when i used to live in Uttarkashi… How much i miss the place..
Hills have their own charm… Gotta be there to feel it…
The grass looks more greener in your photo than the other one.. which looks more natural to me.. But the one clicked by you looks better… The fog is looking so awesome…
is this pic touched?
touched, yes a bit of contrast correction, but as it was taken on a tripod i had a lot of shutter time which made sure colours came out bright and had lot of details.
