This post is about my short stay at bangalore.

It came to an end even before it started. Was just getting adjusted with the city and now i am back to my lucky place Hyderabad. This is all that i can summarize Bangalore into as per my stay was concerned.

Mg road – the most happening road I have ever seen. It has got everything what a guy can ask for after sweating out at the job. Cool place, all leading eating joints, shopping places, malls, pubs, chicks everything.

Pubs – the pub world, nasa, the 13th floor, L’Attitude, Sparks, i-Bar, Shangrila, Downtown Pub

Chicks – the firangs, the chinks and our loved by all punjabi’s .. countless. its like second home for delhiites.

radio city 91 fm – every showroom, mall, taxi, food joint, cafe, reliance web world plays this ..

The SALE !!! – oh man … come to bangalore for shopping … dont know .. whether its seasonal … but its everywhere.

Big bazaar hee hee, heard one firang sayin at MS support center.
O man … i went to this place .. some bazAAr .. next to the mall … and its was like all the f***ing 5 million ppl of Bangalore in there. Just got inside and started back .. and it took me 10 minutes to get out of there. I swear man i am not going back again. And yes he was absolutely correct. Every shopping place or eating joint will be so crowded on weekends that u find place to stand. AC’s wont work, orders wont come on time, getting to the cashier will be a job.

Forum – it s not overrated. It is a “MALL” in true sense. You can get anything over there. Ranging from PVR, R Web World, and Reebok to Adidas, and BOSE to Apple, Worldspace lounge, TRANSIT, Mc D, Pizza Hut, Book Shops to Flavored hand made soaps, Crystal gallery and all kind of clothing joints. It s endless. Btw my fav is the BOSE gallery. And please don t expect to get tickets in PVR for any watch able movie on weekends.

Food – food is good, all throughout Bangalore you can get decent food .. with tons of punjabi food joints coming at every corner.

Greenery – coming a little away towards the outskirts of Bangalore .. one can imagine how it would have been 3-4 yrs earlier.

Pollution – pollution is not a problem i guess .. but it will be soon.

Weather – awesome weather. no cons abt it, its just puuurfect. i love it … the best weather among all the metros in my opinion.

IBM – although I am not working there anymore … but still its a good place to work. with Golf course and airport in front, Hosur lake on the east and a cool food court at the back, … what more you can expect .. actually i expected more but still the ambience is good. just imagine u standing in the coffee lounge and reading news paper. just outside the window u see ppl playing golf and the caddies. boeing 737 and fighter planes taking off and going just from ur top. small and shining hosur lake .. the lush green fields.. its hard to get this kind of view in bangalore.

Co-workers – ppl were good. helping and sincere. and just 10% of the north indians.

Managers and team leads – cool ppl. specially my team lead.

House – To get a house in Bangalore is tough. Either u go for a cheap one .. or pick one in a good locality. We somehow managed to get both. got a 3bhk in 10.5k + power and water extra, behind Kempfort on airport road.

To summarize Bangalore in keywords: Cool people, Super Cool weather, People with ID cards, IT companies, No flyovers, Traffic, Traffic and Traffic.
